t’s Friday. Let’s not pretend that any of us are actually going to do any work today. On that note I’ve popped together a little Productivity Smasher for this fine Friday for you to consume at your leisure. Hint: It’s perfect for procrastination.

Personally, I’m not sure if I will ever have the guts to get a tattoo but I really do love them on other people, especially these 15 stylish tattoo ideas from Who What Wear.

This is my new favourite post in the internet ever by Momestry via Veggie Mama. Specifically for those times when perfect people keep pointing their avocados at you. Just read the post. You’ll get what I mean.

This one is a little bit creepy but I love it. Photographer Arthur Tress takes the nightmares of children and turns them into photographs. Terrifying and awesome.

If you haven’t yet watched Weird Al Yankovic’s Word Crimes, you simply must. It’s brilliant.

Where does creativity come from? This is an extremely sensible talk by John Cleese on how to be creative. Definitely worth watching.

This is a bit of an oldie but it always makes me smile. Grown up sons re-creating family photos. So cute.

I’ve been mildly obsessed with these Alisha boots by Alias Mae for a while now. I’m thinking of striking when I get my tax return. I just also like most of the stuff on the Style Tread popular page. I really, really love shoes.

I like tattoos on others as well. I don’t know that I could get one myself. I mean, I change my mind so often about shoes and handbags, I don’t think I could commit to ink. As for those boots…YOU MUST GET THEM!

I know right? That’s what I’m thinking. Yeah with tattoos I just can’t not going to happen. I think maybe when I’m older and it’s less of a follies of youth thing.

I think that’s because we never go anywhere fancy together! Fashion week, blogging events and weddings I’m ALL OVER the heels. We must change that.

I have a tattoo of a feather! And another one too. I got my first one when it was something I just couldn’t stop thinking about, and that seems to be the general rule. If there’s a particular image that you just can’t get out of your head, then it’s time. Er, that only applies if you really want a tattoo, obviously! Mine are pretty little but on a really sensitive area (just across the inside of my wrists), and they both hurt a lot. But they also both mean a lot to me, and I wouldn’t feel complete without them now.
Also, I’m loving Stop Pointing Your Avocado At Me. That’s an awesome idea, and I often get caught up in it – when people talk about their loving, fulfilling relationships, or their super jobs with awesome colleagues. Stop loving each other at me! Stop having such a great career at me! I loved that advice from her Dad – people aren’t thinking about you as much as you think they are.

How good was it? That article was just brilliant. I’ve been tempted to get a tattoo a few times but I’m huge commitment phobe. I think it’s a Type A thing. I like to really think things over before I commit to them.
