* It is impossible to maintain good sleeping patterns while working two six-day weeks in a row. I sleep in far too late on Sunday and ruin my sleep routine for the following week.

* It is hilarious when someone hits their head really hard on a shelf. It doesn’t even matter if they’ve really hurt themselves it’s still hilarious.

*  Daily fresh fruit juice, despite it making me feel AMAZING, makes me gain weight. Veggie juice from now then thank you very much.

* No matter how little work I have to do in a day I ALWAYS leave something for last minute. It makes me feel really busy and important.

* Boy troubles will turn a glass of wine with Browny (click here to find out who she is if you’re new) into a bottle of gin, dumplings, dancing to bad 80’s covers and passing out on the bathroom floor. Pre-planned.

* I’m really impatient.

* Checking Facebook ten times in the day when I’m really, really bored doesn’t make anything interesting appear there. This fact does not make me stop doing it.

* Teenagers have no manners.

* Neither do old people.

* I really need a holiday.

What about you muffin pie? Anything fun you discovered today?

    Have been checking my Facebook a million times today in the hope that someone (anyone!) posts something interesting since I last checked 4 minutes ago! Good to know I’m not alone. 🙂

    I need a holiday, too. Thinking about Club Med Lindeman Is. Been there before, loved it. Great for the kiddies, too.

    Merry Christmas to you. I’m off for the holidays and may not be checking in on my blog lovers until 2010.

  4. I so hear you on checking facebook repeatedly and on leaving something to the last minute! I’m glad I found your blog! Thanks for stopping by and for your lovely comment!

    Not a discovery but a reinforcement of prior belief system: cleaning (anything: yesterday I did the fridge and my closet) makes everything better.

    Discoveries I’ve made since coming home to my parent’s farm for Giftmas:
    > Despite both bein well into our 20’s, my sister and I can still be reduced to insults like ‘Poo-face’ and ‘crap-wad’ and ‘Stupid-head’ in a matter of minutes of being around one another
    > Drinking over six litres of tea in one day is a bad idea
    > Amazon.com shopping is shit. I paid $96 AUS for priority postage and they’re telling me my parcel will not arrive until March, maybe even April. FTW???

    Hope you’re having an extra special Giftmas Lady Smaggle. Xx

    Grant- My brother had a MASSIVE pillow fight in the car on the way to Sydney. It was awesome. He is 28 and I’m 26. Mamma Smaggle was not amused.
