4.When you use spell check you realise you’ve spelled ‘winter’ as ‘wintour’. Six times.
5. You’ve taken your daily outfit shot against the same wall so many times that when your friends come over they’re all ‘Oh my god. Is that THE WALL???’
6. When you mention Susie Bubble in a conversation you’re shocked that no one knows who she is.
7. You can’t pose for family holiday snaps without going pigeon toed and tossing your hair across your face.
8. You know your regular readers so well that you get worried when they don’t comment. ‘Hmmmm…. Nadist hasn’t commented on my outfit today. I hope nothing has happened to her…’
9. Your close friends and family have adopted your alias. I must have received at least 5 Christmas presents addressed to ‘Lady Smaggle’.
10. You still miss Style Bytes.

Oh this made me laugh SO loud!
And aside from numbers 1 and 4 I’m guilty of all! Except the tossing hair across my face – my daily pose rather means that I look at the floor and stick out my chin whenever anyone points a camera at me!

I self-narrate my life constantly. I’ve done this since childhood though so it’s not so much a result of blogging. In blogging I finally found a place to release the self-narration demons… Praise be for blogging!

Oh my gosh- something that has just happened to me as a result of blogging is this:
On online forms such this blog’s comment form, I never know what to write when they ask for my name. This is because my penname is Aury and thats the name I use on my blog but my everyday name is Frances. I ended up settling with Frances aka Aury (after almost writing Aury aka Frances)
I’ve also signed my name on some official forms as Aury by accident (before correcting myself).

omg, these are so true! I was shocked at people not knowing The Glamourai and etsy stores lol. I worry about the absence of commentors (hehe) and I was thinking of writing (another) tribute to Style Bytes (best blog ever hands down). I wish people would start to call me by my alias….. I like ‘Eyeliah”. 🙂

I use leet speak in every-day conversations. I actually say things like ‘LOL’ and ‘WTF’; and the other day I wrote ‘Peeps’ on a form at work and got into lots of trouble from this woman in Finance with a Peace-symbol necklace!!!
