New Years Health Resolutions by Lady Smaggle

New Years Health Resolutions by Lady Smaggle
Carly Jacobs

I’m sick of making silly, hardcore resolutions every year that are dripping with negativity. I won’t do this, I won’t do that… bleurgh! This year is the year of wills for Smaggle so I’m making a list of the things I WILL do instead of all that yucky no stuff…

* I WILL eat good, fresh and delicious food.

* I WILL break a sweat everyday. I made this resolution last year too and stuck to it. Seriously, exercise is like heroin. Get into it. Exercise I mean… obviously not heroin.

* I WILL take the time to paint my fingernails.

* I WILL keep up with my skin care routine.

* I WILL wear high heels and not care that I am a towering giant.

* I WILL wear red lipstick during the day.

* I WILL make an effort to look nice every single day.

* I WILL have a gin and tonic on the weekends and not feel guilty about it.

* I WILL get mega buff, avoid carbohydrates like the plague, become a strict vegan, have regular colonoscopies, get a little preventative botox, marry a millionaire and do Cindy Crawford’s Buns of Steel until I can crack walnuts in my butt cheeks.

Wish me luck!

Love Lady Smaggle

Not sure of the health benefits of arse-cracked walnuts…

Have really enjoyed your NZ posts!! And your resolutions sound very sensible (well up until the last one I guess). My goal is to do yoga twice a week, so that I am less of a maniac and more in touch with my inner peace. Happy New Year lady….

I WILL get over the sight of that scarey, scarey man at the top of this post and his precarious trouser situation.

I like the positivity Lady S!

Yoiks, that’s a helluva list. Good luck. And thanks load for scaring the bejeezus out of me with that photo. ICK.

I recently opted for red lipstick, and after a couple of days thinking it was too bright, it’s now my favorite look.

Oh, and that dude in the pic… I don’t know what to think… I guess just imagine him w/o the hair thing going on. Now that I can get my mind around. 😉

What, you don’t plan to do roids and get huge like Carrot Top?

  8. Jocelyne 15 years ago

Why is carrot top such a freak? I think he looks like a woman, like Kathy Griffin’s sister.

Hope you had a great trip, it looked and sounded like so much fun. It’s always nice to feel refreshed after fun adventures.

That photo of carrot top is soooo disturbing on so many levels hahaha. Good luck hun I don’t believe resolutions should be about banning things but more about how we can improve ourselves as individuals ie; I WILL be more positive this year (my main resolution)

I WILL indulge my need for fantastic shoes.

I WILL dye my hair bright colours and stare down those who sneer.

I WILL wear red lipstick during the day – or hot pink, or flaming orange.

I WILL strut into bars like I own the place.

    Hell yeah!

I started the heels this year – it’s not my fault I’m 177cm, I still want to be FABULOUS!

Well there is a bit of collision of your wills. Drinking gin and tonic every weekend will not help you get rid of your fat. I mean you are so pretty, c’mon girl, lose a few kg and you will look just super!
I have lost 3 kilos since New Year’s eve. And I still do eat things i love, but setting a goal of drinking gin everyday and losing weight at the same time doesn’t sound right.
I also am soooo shy to wear any hills. I am 171 cm and I am so much taller to my boyfriend when I wear hills. But I like to think of myself as a tall supermodel at such times 😉

Lita – Oh there a benefits.

Kerrin – Oh yoga is SO good for that. I have to get back into stretching.

Fats – I know! He is terrifying right?

E – Ha ha! He is quite the attention grabber!

Sal – No worries love. Glad to deliver!

Sydney – Oh you have to be so brave to do it right? I’m working on it!

Eyeliah – Totally. It’s year of the red head.

Jocelyne – It was AWESOME!!! I can’t believe I’m back at work already.

Uber Original – I totally agree! I WILL be a better Lady Smaggle this year!

    Kirby – 🙂

Emma – Always fabulous shoes. ALWAYS FABULOUS SHOES!!!

Enny – Me too! I’ve already started it and I’m loving it!

Daria – Hey welcome to Smaggle! The goal is actually to have a gin and tonic on weekends and not feel guilty, not everyday. Also who said anything about losing weight? My resolutions are about health not weight loss (the last one was a joke!). I already look super and I don’t need to lose weight but thanks for saying I’m pretty! 🙂 And you go girl with your heels. Tis fab!
