Melbourne Bloggers Meeting!

Melbourne Bloggers Meeting!
Carly Jacobs

The super gorgeous Grant from Ink and Leather sent a wee little email to Vintage Verve to secure me an invite to the lovely Melbourne blogger get together on Sunday. The bloggers in attendence were…

Lady Melbourne

Aus Style

Ink and Leather

Vintage Verve

Fashion Hayley

Sea of Ghosts

Angela see, Angela blog

Super Kawaii Mama

Poppet

Circa Vintage

Please visit their blogs for photos because I was far too busy being a social butterfly to take any. Super Kawaii Mama is a gem, Lady Melbourne is just lovely in real life, Ink and Leather (my fellow Berra blogger) was gorgeous as always, Sea of Ghosts was a real find (visit her blog immediately!) and Vintage Verve may well be my new best friend.

BUT… the greatest thing that has happened to me in AGES came later that night…

So I guess you are wondering who these people are…hmmm… it’s only GARANCE DORE AND THE FREAKING SARTORIALIST!!!!! And super gorgeous Fashion Hayley in the background there. I didn’t even know Garance Dore was going to be there until this girl came up to me and said something completely indecipherable in a French accent and I was like ‘What?’. It turns out that she thought I was Garance Dore because she heard that she’s tall with dark curly hair. Needless to say I nearly passed out with excitement because I didn’t know that Garance would be there as well as the Sartorialist. Turns out… they’re a couple! Scott (the Sartorialist) told me himself. Apparently this goss has been circulating for a while now but it didn’t stop me from wanting to twitter Perez Hilton immediately. They are both so lovely and I could barely contain my conversation with them because I got all kinds of verbal diarrhoea and just gushed at the pair of them for about twenty minutes. And I apologise for my big ugly mug in the photo – this is Lady Smaggle giddy.

Fabulous weekend!

Love Lady Smaggle

P.S Do visit all the Melbourne blogs. They are bloody fab!

Lol at me in the background, I ruined your photo, sorry. I actually forgot who took the photo of me and Scott, I was too in the moment. It’s not that its bad…I just look bad in all photos taken of me as a rule. Didn’t mean anything by it. It was awesome to meet you btw, your so tall in person.

Terrific photo! I would have loved to have been there. I knew they were a couple but to hear it from Scott himself must have been a trip!

Oh my, that is INSANE! How incredibly exciting! I LOVE Garance, she has a phenomenal eye and is so funny, and of course everyone follows The Sartorialist. (It’s interesting how people don’t know they’re a couple – I found out from Garance’s site a little while back.)

The first thing I thought when I saw the pic was ‘Look at Smaggsy’s sensational hair!’ You look great.

It seems every single blog I’m reading has a picture of themselves with The Sartorialist and Garance. Garance is my hero. You’re a lucky girl to meet them both.

Woah, my jaw actually just fell open. Seeing the Sartorialist brought into real life is almost jarring!

So if you had any doubts, you must cast them aside: you’re a star! 😉
