Lady loves…
* Weekends of bliss – eating sushi, holding Mr Smaggle’s hand, movies, market shopping… sigh!
* Afternoon naps.
* Shamefully… Degrassi the New Generation. It’s so bad it’s delicious.
* Mineral water. Always.
* Going for runs on my lunch break… it means I can come straight home after school instead of going to the gym.
* My students. Last week I was teaching them emotions. I was giving them a scenario that might make them use their ‘angry face’. I said ‘What about when you come from school and you’re REALLY hungry and you go to the cupboard to get a muesli bar and the box is empty? Does that make you angry?’. One of my students (autistic) shouted ‘I HATE WHEN THERE’S NO MUESLI BARS!!!!!’. It was awesome.
* Feeling well again. I don’t do sick.
* My new clogs. Totally cute and OH&S approved footwear for the workshop. I heart Funkis.
Lady loathes…
* Jewellery techniques that aren’t formulaic. I love strict recipes, time limits and specific instructions. Comments like ‘just chuck it in some acid and take it out right before it explodes’ don’t sit so well with me.
* Waiting. For toilets, to be served, for trains to arrive, for people to arrive. I hate waiting.
* Not being able to do theatre. I just can’t commit to the seasons because I live between two cities. I’m starting to go a little nuts…
* Insomnia. I get it like once a year and I’m a total princess about it. Of all the mental ailments that I’m lucky enough to not be cursed with I truly believe that insomnia is the worst.

Reading mx on the train platform and missing my train as a result. It’s not like anything in it is even that engrossing. I just read and forget what I’m supposed to be doing. Dang.

HATING this goddarn sunburn! Soundwave 2010 totally kicked my behind! I collapsed from heat stroke and had to go home early!

Todays loves
It’s payday, ohh how I have waited after the expenses of Christmas!
I have 2 hours music tution tonight, my favourite part of the week, if only I could do it full time…
My friend Lisa picked out the pattern for her wedding dress at the weekend, now all we have to do is make the thing, oh and find the material, and get the pattern for the bridesmaids dresses and the material for them… All good though 🙂
today’s not so greats
It is snowing again and this time it’s ice snow, am completely over the snow thing and the ice flew in my eye, ouch.
Intended boy is completely ignoring my email about meeting up. Ignoring emails is rude and it is clearly his loss but it makes me feel a bit unhappy.
We have a poorly chicken, Dusty Springfield, hopefully can get her to the vets soon. -
lovin my hubby for cooking me dinner because I’m sick!
Loathin being sick. Whats up with having a cold when it’s fricken 30 degrees outside!?! -
I love afternoon sleeps too – they are the best! Also happy about cooking a new recipe tonight. And loving my new TV, a bit too much.

how delightful – my love is almost exactly the same. sneaky japanese dinner with my boy instead of routine steaks and salad. killing myself at spin so said dinner doesn’t feel so naughty!! 🙂

One of my students recently told me that her children are convinced that Michael Jackson is haunting their home and frequently scare each other by shoving each other into darkened bedrooms and yelling “Michael Jackson!” ;D

Love the muesli bar rant! And I don’t even like muesli bars!
I love peanut butter on schwobs grainy toast, letterpress cards and T2 organic ginger and lemongrass tea with a smidge of honey. I loathe Sydney traffic and my neighbours who won’t mow their lawn.
