Lady loves…

* Having the perfect Melbourne Cup Day. A backyard BBQ, with champagne and an evening of playing board games with my Melbourne family.

* Spending a ridiculous amount of money on underwear, socks and singlet tops.

* Looking forward to Friday night karaoke with the girls.

* My beaded ring collection for the National Portrait Gallery bookshop COMPLETELY selling out. Henceforth, I buy shoes. Natural progression.

* Thrifting. Sometimes I forget how spectacular it can be to find bargains in Op shops.

* Sunny afternoons, lying on my gorgeous bed, chatting to Mamma Smaggle on the phone.

* Body Pump. I have a three month love affair with this class every spring and I feel that this year it’s getting pretty serious. I’m considering a monotonous relationship.

* My competition! Please enter it! Closes midnight Friday… dun dun DUN! Don’t forget to comment.

Lady loathes…

* Having had a headache for what seems like days. Just can’t shake it.

* ‘Dear Blogger’ emails. Note to impersonal, money focused corporate sites – My name is Lady Smaggle. Not Smaggle Style. My blog hasn’t even been called ‘Smaggle Style’ since 2007. Oh and FYI, I know that you don’t ‘love my blog’ because if you did you would know that I wouldn’t want to promote contact lenses, fake tan or dog outfits.

* Having a just little bit too much spare time this week. I nearly bleached my hair. This is precisely why I should never be kept idle.

What about you pie face? Anything to share?

Love Lady Smaggle

    monotonous? or monogamous? 😉

    I love:
    my boy
    Little Women

    I loathe:
being so far away from my boy! It’s horrible!! and skype is certainly no substitute. sniff.

Nadist – I won’t I promise! It just fancy it a little when I’m bored. At the moment my stuff can’t be purchased anywhere… because I sold out! But I’ll have a shop eventually! I would LOVE for you to buy something when it’s up! x

Fat mum slim – Hee! Thanks.

Vixel – I suspect it might be hayfever… thanks for the well wishes.

Na – No I meant monotonous. I’ve been watching too much Sex and the City. Clearly it doesn’t translate through text. Also… miss your boy? Do you REALLY want to loathe that in front of me of all people? 🙂

There is no way you can have a monotonous OR monogamous relationship with Body Pump coz I’m having one too!!
    Yeh muscles.

Rings? Tell me more about these rings of which you speak… she says as she rummages around for black leather and heels to DIY the Vera Wang look….

haha i can totally relate to your “dear blogger” emails. so frustrating!!!

  14. Cammila 14 years ago

Haha, I know just what you mean about idle time. I’ve covered a few innocent housewares in magazine cut-out decoupage when left with too much time on my hands. 🙂

    Piglet – Totally! I’m delighted!

Grant – Totally it’s all about the fete. Do the Radford one it rocks!

Uselesslines – How great is it? Co-Dependent Smaggle and I are so addicted.

Ellie – Awesome! Post pics and let me know! There’s a link to the rings in the post! xxx

Megan Aney – Seriously. I’ve had it. If they don’t even try to make the email sound personal then they can bugger off!

Cammila – That’s the first thing I do! Cut up my mags!
