Here are a few of my favourite, healthy afternoon snacks.
200ml of low fat natural yogurt with frozen berries
10 wholegrain rice crackers with garlic hommus
A small bowl of porridge made with low fat milk
Celery sticks with low sodium peanut butter
10 walnuts or natural almonds
Flavoured cottage cheese with carrot sticks
A smoothie made with low fat milk and frozen fruit
A cup of vegetable soup
A small bowl of low GI muesli with low fat milk
A piece of fresh fruit

I am a serial snacker, I always snack in between meals…its terrible!
Tamara Valley Greek Style Yogurts (no added sugar) 80 calories a tub!
Teaspoon of peanut butter/Nutella
10 grated raddishes
1 large boiled beetroot (grated)
Celery sticks with Skinny Tzadziki dip
Small bowl of frozen raspberries
4 purple carrots
Apple pieces dipped in 1 table spoon of Greek yogurt with a sprinkle of cinnamon -
Snacking is a weakness of mine. lately I’ve kept berries around the house so that I don’t go for the sugary stuff.

Fruit with the nuts works for me. And if is one of those days I have some bread on me I have a piece of toast with peanut butter on it.

My favourite healthy snacks are as follows:
-1 Ryvita cracker with cottage cheese and 4 cherry tomatoes
-1 slice wholegrain bread with low sodium peanut butter and one tsp of jam
-Small banana and a handful of sunflower or pumpkin seeds
-Carrot sticks with some Philadelphia light
-25g breakfast cereal mixed with natural, low fat yoghurt
-Blueberries, strawberries and raspberries with some ricotta cheese.My mouth’s watering just thinking about it 🙂

All great options, though I would say be careful with the low-fat yoghurt, they’re generally packed full of sugar. At least, the ones here are.
I like to chomp down on some pink lady apple wedges shmeared with soft cheese wedges. It sounds a little odd if you haven’t had it before, but it’s SO good. -
I love a little plate of bell peppers and ranch dip.
Or a cucumber sliced with a little salt and pepper.
I also love, love, love Greek yogurt with honey or fruit and granola,
as well as coconut milk yogurt! -
My favorite healthy snacks include:
– Granny Smith apple wedges spread with a little crunchy peanut butter
– Carrot sticks with hommus
– A cup of miso soup
– Dried nori sheets ripped into bite-sized pieces.
– Mandarin segments
– Porridge topped with grated pear
