Yesterday was the most pleasant day ever. It was a public holiday for us Australians and I spent the morning eating fruit and hanging with the Smaggles. Then Mr Smaggle packed the best picnic ever (rice crackers, dip, avocado, ham, cherry tomatoes, salmon and olives. And peaches and Turkish Delight for dessert) and we sat on a picnic blanket in the shade by the lake and read books and talked about nothing. Then we went to the National Gallery and managed to escape the amazing gift shop with out buying any books. We then had a delicious coffee and a wheat free cookie. Then I went to a hotel to do a photo shoot for the poster of my play. It was hilarious. I was dressed as a German punk prostitute and the pictures were taken in the elevator with guests coming in and out all the time. It was hot and sticky and weird but I think the photos came out all right…
