Do You Need A Distraction? (or a $100 Etsy voucher?)

H

ello lovely ones. If you need a distraction, it’s your lucky day crumpet face!

It’s that time of year again – time for the (a little bit annual but not really) Smaggle Survey.

I pop these up on the blog every now and then to make sure I’m not totally boring the shit out of everyone. I don’t want to be that person at the party who keeps talking about Harry Potter horcrux theories and everyone else is like ‘Dude. Move on.’ However if people do want to hear more about how I predicted Harry was a horcrux before anyone else did, then who am I to deny you of my genius?

So on that note if you would be so kind as to click here and take a wee moment to answer a few questions about yourself that would totally make my day and also make me a better blogger. Help me help you.

Also by entering you go in the draw to win a $100 Etsy gift voucher… also make sure you sign up to the Smaggle newsletter if you haven’t already. That way you won’t miss the winner announcement.

Oh I’m also publishing this post today on purpose because today is a rather special day here in Smaggle land. It was on the 9th September 2007 that I first hit publish on my very first post for Smaggle. It was a really stupid post about Zara opening in Australian with a bunch of predictions that turned out to be totally incorrect. I love how doofus-y my first was. Hilarious.

Just for shits and giggles here are a few snapshots of my blog over the years. Thank you Way Back Machine. You’re like the parent’s photo album of the internet.

So how long have you been reading Smaggle? Since the Blue Wall Browny* days? Or are you a brand newbie?

P.S If I won the Etsy gift voucher I’d totally stock up on crochet patterns.

P.P.S *The Blue Wall Browny days refer to the first two years I was blogging and my office mate was called Browny and she’d take my photo against a blue wall outside our office every day. I’m still great mates with Browny and she’s now shacked up with a lovely guy and just had a baby called Clover. Squee!

P.P.P.S Research has shown that people who subscribe to the Smaggle newsletter and like Smags on Facebook are more likely to win the lottery. That’s probably not true but why take the risk?
