Lady’s loves and loathes…

Kat Stewart as Roberta Williams

Lady loves…

* Beetroot in my vegetable juice. Delish!

* That Canberra gets cold every night even when it’s 30 degress during the day.

* My friend Nina! My Melbourne family (Roomy Smaggle, Codependent Smaggle and Oadie) call ourselves the Underbelly Crew because we bonded over watching the first season of it together. For my international readers Underbelly is an Australian show about a Melbourne mob war. Anyways our favourite line was when Roberta Williams says to her young daughter ‘Hey bitch, lets get a Slushie!’. So guess what? Nina’s parents know Kat Stewart who is the totally bitchin’ actress that plays Roberta Williams and she got an autograph for us! It says ‘To the UB Crew, ‘Hey bitch, let’s get a Slushie!’ – Roberta Williams, love Kat Stewart.’ I’m so flipping excited. I’m going to copy it and frame it for the UB crew. I was so excited I was speechless. That so rarely happens to me. Thanks Nina! The UB Crew freaking LOVE YOU!

*  Making plans to see Whitney Housten in Melbourne next year! I’m totally not into music at all but I have Whitney’s Ones playing CONSTANTLY in my car. My friend BJ and I are planning on being a bit naughty and buying the best tickets available. We figure, if you’re going to do Whitney, you do Whitney well.

* Pleasant Saturday evening dinner dates with wine, good food and great company.

* Washing my hair, shaving my legs, plucking my eyebrows, slathering myself in thick moisturiser, wearing clean pajamas and hopping into a clean bed. Bliss.

Lady loathes…

* Two six-day work weeks in a row. I’m exhausted.

* Fresh fruit juice making me gain weight. Proven fact after a week of careful monitoring. Back to the plain vegetable juice then.

* In reference to above, working out on the Wii Fit for an hour a day and gaining WITHOUT FAIL 200gms every day. After ten days? Yes I’ve gained two kilos. Screw you Wii Fit! I don’t want to hear ‘Muscle weighs more than fat! What have you been eating? How much have you been drinking? Blah blah blah!’. I’m the Queen of weight loss. I know what I’m doing. I’ve just been experimenting with a few digestion tips and general well being programs recently. They obviously don’t help the waist line.

* Not being able to buy comfortable shoes. I have boney veiny dancer feet and shoes are just always uncomfortable. Even flats.

What about you angel face? Anything to share?

Love Lady Smaggle
