How To Make a Casual Dress Look Fancy

I’ve had this dress from Sha-de for a few months now and I freaking love it. It’s so comfortable (it’s like being wrapped in a silky cloud of deliciousness) but because I wear it so often it’s turned into a casual dress very quickly… if you’ve got a pile of not quite dressy enough dresses that you’d like to style up here’s how to make a casual dress look fancy.

A day of writing, a trip to the post office, an evening visit to Ikea (the best time to go it’s practically empty!) and a quick drink at an event.

Style Notes On How To Make A Casual Dress Look More Fancy

* Obviously add fancy shoes. This works with almost all dresses but DOESN’T work with tracksuit pants. You heard it here first.

* Keep it simple – too much jewellery will over power a casual dress. Like wearing diamonds with overalls.

* Hire a limo and start flinging caviar at everyone you meet.
