Hell Yes…
* Sunny and warm winter days where you can wear just a scarf and a cardigan and wander around with a takeaway coffee.
* Buckwheat. Freshly cooked in a saucepan on the stove or chilled in a salad. My new favourite power grain.
* Lipstick. I’ve been getting into lipstick in a HUGE way. Wearing a different vibrant shade every day makes me feel so polished and put together.
* Walking home from the city, holding hands with my man and eating gelato in the freezing cold.
* Going hard core on Dry July. I feel freaking tops. Just FYI I’m almost at my goal of $500… feel free to top me up!
* Girls. Easily my new favourite show. I’m completely obsessed with Jessa’s clothes. Expect a style guide soon my poppets.
* Making my own yogurt. I bought an Easy-Yo yogurt maker about a year ago (okay you can stop laughing now!) and it’s tops, I use it every week. Fresh yogurt full of yummy bacteria. Okay that sounds gross but trust me it’s not.
* Getting back into my fitness rountine after a terrible week of the flu. I’m using a fitness program on the Kinect and it’s crazy intense. I love it because I don’t have to leave the warm house in winter. Bonus.
Shit No…
* Paper cuts. Well, more like foil cuts. I got sent a box of moisturiser and it was full of those flat foil sample packages that you get in magazines, but sitting upright on their edge, so when I stuck my fingers in the side of the box to rip the lid off I got eight paper cuts all along my knuckles. So. Painful. Washing my hair has been very stingy this week.
* Having problems sleeping. And by problems, I mean taking more than 30 seconds to fall asleep after my head hits the pillow. I’m a FABULOUS sleeper so when I turn average in this department, I get extremely cranky.
* The fact that my new postie is a total jerk. When I get a package he buzzes and screams ‘PACKAGE!!!!‘ into the phone and hangs up so I have to go out of the building to get it and when I get there he’s all ‘What TOOK you so long?‘. I always find it mildly amusing when people get irate about the very tasks that make up the foundation of their job.
