* Find a signature item that you love and wear it often. For example a vintage brooch that you might wear pinned to your collar one day or holding a scarf around your neck the next.

* Don’t feel that you always need to dress in one style. It’s entirely acceptable to wear leather today and chiffon tomorrow. Perhaps you should wear them together…

*Wear your clothes in different ways. A skirt as a dress, socks as mittens or a scarf as a head band.

* Look for inspiration all around you. If you see someone wearing something that you love, write it down, remember it and try it out yourself.

* If you don’t feel amazing in something don’t wear it. A look of discomfort is never stylish.
